Let’s face it—running an agency is challenging. There are always a million & one things to do and you need to be super productive if you plan to succeed. You have to be productive and make the most of every day. Here are a few of my top productivity tips…

4 tips that lead to productivity

1. Wake up early. Start the day energized and ahead of the ball.
2. Exercise. You get so busy running your business, prospecting, serving clients, and running your teams—but do you take care of yourself? One of the best things you can do to stay energized and motivated is exercise 3–4 times a week.
3. Prioritize. If you don’t get anything else done this week, what are the top three things you need to get done? Set a weekly top-three list and a daily top-three list. At the end of the day and week, check yourself: Did I get those things done? What prevented me from getting those things done?
4. Time-block. Do you work 40 hours a week? Do you treat it as one block of time? Things blend together, right? But if you time-block and focus one or two hours on one specific thing, you get more done.

Can you theme your days or weeks?

• Monday: Monday could be a momentum day where you get clear, focused, and nail down key things to get done.
• Tuesday: Tuesday could be a sales day where you focus on prospecting or outreach.
• Wednesday: Wednesday could be a catch up day where you focus on client work or communication.
• Thursday: Thursday could be the day you focus on marketing. You can put out a webinar, create content, or record videos.
• Friday: Friday could be another sales day where you focus on growing your agency.

Your days will flex as you grow, scale, and get team members in place. But it can be powerful to theme your days and block your time.
